Event requirements
MINORS
If you are under the age of 18 and you are a driver, worker or crew who needs to go into a restricted area (anywhere inside Track perimeter fence - Pit Lane, Flag Stations, Sound, etc.) you must have a current annual minor waiver on file with SCCA. There is no work around for minor waivers. Even if both parents are present, the waiver must be acted upon by the SCCA National Office to be effective. Single parents with sole custody adds even more paperwork. Please contact SCCA well in advance to obtain this. Waiver instructions can be found at: https://cdn.connectsites.net/user_files/scca/downloads/000/059/650/Digital%20Annual%20Waiver%20Instructions.pdf?1638375860
DRIVER ELIGIBILITY
All TA drivers must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid state driver’s license and a full or weekend SCCA membership (Section 4 applies). A SCCA TA License, NASA TT License (Full), SCCA Road Race Novice or Full Competition License, or competition licenses from other sanctioning bodies per the General Competition Rules is accepted. TA licenses will not be issued at the event.
To request a SCCA TA license, please go to https://timetrials.scca.com/pages/driver-eligibility (towards the bottom of the page) and submit a licensing request
